Come remake secondary education with us!
Murray High School and Community Public Charter School (Community Middle) are co-located and aim to foster creativity and intellectual curiosity through art and design, experiential learning, mastery, and student agency. As an educational laboratory, we also exist to design and pilot nontraditional approaches to learning that align to ACPS mission, vision, and goals with intent to inform practices more broadly. Our partners in research include the University of Virginia, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Education, Maker Education Initiative, and others.
Our work here is very unique and quite ambitious. We seek educators to join our team who begin with a strong philosophical commitment to student-centered learning, have a bias toward action, and bring the disposition to thrive in a dynamic culture of perpetual change and teamwork.
